Working On The Imaginary Object
A one-week intensive workshop by Natalie Brück where participants shape a live performance from collective imagined objects.
Natalie Brück is a performance artist working at the intersection of language, text, and movement. Her works have been presented in Germany and internationally, and focus on the interplay between people and the structures that emerge through shared action.
Working On The Imaginary Object is an ongoing body of work in which participants engage with things that exist only in the imagination. Through movement, coordination, and attention, a shared point of reference takes shape. Collective action is essential, while each individual brings their own ideas and perspectives into the process.
At Casino Luxembourg, Brück realizes the project as a one-week intensive workshop culminating in a performance. The performance emerges from this collective process and unfolds as a choreographed form that takes shape in the moment of presentation.
