This is a FREE event. Join Jonathan Leeming for a question and answer session focusing on venomous animals and their bites and stings. Participants are invited to forward questions in advance; these will shape the conversation during the session. Topics include how venom works, antivenom manufacture, first response, allergic reactions to venom, biotechnology, the latest research, the National Snakebite Advisory Group and the new National Snakebite Management Guidelines, antivenom supply issues, and a scorpion poaching case brought to Cape Town.
