Courtyard Productions Present The Snow Queen Come on an epic adventure at The Courtyard this Christmas with an enchanting version of Hans Christian Andersen's timeless story, The Snow Queen - the perfect festive treat for little ones not quite ready for pantomime. Best friends Gerda and Kay are inseparable, but when the Snow Queen steals Kay away and threatens to turn his heart into a lump of ice, Gerda sets off on an extraordinary adventure to save her best friend. On her way, she meets lots of magical and mysterious characters, who help her discover her true strength… and your little ones can help her along the way! Packed with original songs, plenty of audience interaction and bags of festive magic, this energetic and exciting show celebrates the things that make us different and the value of true friendship. Designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all young audiences, our relaxed production means everyone can enjoy the adventure in their own way - wiggles, giggles and wonder are all very much encouraged. This show is inherently relaxed, however, we do offer a few inclusive performances which are flat floored so we can accommodate for wheelchair spaces. Running time approx 55mins. Written by Nick Lane
