We're going to meet three times! Pick a book to focus on or try all three. Books will be available about a month before to check out. You'll receive an email when the book arrives. Activities and a relaxing atmosphere await at each meeting. Teens who participate will be entered into a raffle for giftcards and goodies!

Dates and books:

June 10: Ash's Cabin (2024 graphic novel by Jen Wang about a non-binary teenager named Ash who feels alienated and seeks escape in a mythical cabin built by their late grandfather, exploring themes of identity, climate change, and finding connection through a survivalist adventure)

July 8: Rebellion 1776 (2025 novel written by Laurie Halse Anderson about 13-year-old Elsbeth Culpepper during the siege of Boston in 1776, focusing on the Revolutionary War and a smallpox epidemic)

July 29: A Deathly Compendium of Poisonous Plants: Wicked Weeds and Sinister Seeds (2024 non-fiction text written by Rebecca E. Hirsch about science, history, and true crime converging in an informative and exciting look at Mother’s Nature’s ghoulish garden)
