Calling all music lovers ages 9–18 — it’s time to strum, play, and explore! Drop by the library for a chill, come-and-go ukulele experience. No lessons, no pressure—just a chance to pick up a uke, try a few chords, and make some music your way.
Never played before? No problem! We’ll have a ukulele on hand, fun tips to get you started, and a staff member ready to help you strum your first tune. Stay for five minutes or fifty—it’s all about discovering how fun (and easy!) making music can be.
Have your own instrument? Feel free to bring it!
What to expect:
• Hands-on time with a real ukulele
• Learn a few simple chords
• Explore how sound and rhythm work
• Learn more about ukulele classes coming in the future!
