Solstice

After packing the room for the first edition of Solstice in March, two DJ/producers who cut their teeth in the Minneapolis DIY underground make their return to Jade in Brooklyn.

echo is a DJ, producer, and cultural organizer based in NYC. As a DJ, he explores genres with Black roots — connecting past, present, and future through energetic and eclectic sets. Echo's sets evoke, move, and expand the audience's perception of music. As a cultural organizer, echo founded Carbon Sound in 2022 — an online music stream and platform dedicated to showcasing the depth and breadth of Black music and its foundational role in the canon of American music.

Piersmog is a DJ & producer engrossed in the sounds of left field house, minimal and 90s tech house. He co-runs the DIY party collective Pleasant Audio based in Minneapolis, and has shared lineups with the likes of Truncate, Lauren Flax, Black Lotus, and Centrific. He will make his debut at the Great Beyond Festival in Minnesota this July.
