Sew Easy! Sew On Skill Lab
Monthly makerspace sewing lab for children 7–12 to practice skills and make a mini-plush keychain
Learn just how easy sewing can be with Sew Easy!
This program, led by volunteer Divya, will open up our hand sewing supplies to participants hoping to practice their skills for upcoming workshops, whether through experimenting or by sewing a keychain mini-plush. Participants can receive guidance on particular hand-sewing skills, practice and experiment with new or different techniques, or finish projects from a previous workshop; plus, keychain mini-plush patterns and supplies will always be available during these sessions for those hoping to make and take a finished project.
This event is free with limited capacity. This program is for children ages 7 to 12. We can take up to 15 children with caregivers at a time on a first come, first served basis. Since this session is makerspace style, if we are at capacity but a child leaves, we can then take another child into the space until the lab ends.
