Rousseau, whistleblower
Monthly free audiovisual guided tour through seven thematic niches exploring Jean‑Jacques Rousseau’s life and ideas at his birthplace
This audiovisual journey immerses visitors in the life and work of Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712–1778). Presented on the site of his birthplace at the Maison Rousseau et Littérature, the Trail confronts the philosopher’s paradoxes through seven thematic niches and invites visitors to question the present in light of Rousseau’s thought.
The MRL offers free guided tours of the Rousseau Trail each month. The visit combines audiovisual elements and thematic stations to explore Rousseau not as a static historical monument but as a provocative thinker whose ideas remain relevant today.
