Robotics Adventure Workshop 2
Artificial Intelligence (AI) · Coding · Kids, ages 5-10 · Pre-Teens, ages 10-12
Discover the exciting world of robotics through hands-on learning and creative problem-solving. Can a robot find its way out of a maze? How does a robot “see” obstacles and make decisions? In this interactive workshop, students will program robot cars to complete engaging challenges while exploring coding, sensors, engineering design, and computational thinking.
The workshop is offered in 3 sessions:
• Sound-Activated Robot Car: July 30 • Line-Following Robot Challenge: August 13 • Obstacle-Avoiding Robot Adventure: August 20
Workshop 2: Line-Following Robot Challenge How can a robot stay on track? Students will program a robot car to detect and follow a path using sensors. Through fun challenges, participants will explore how robots gather information, make decisions, and adjust their actions in real time while developing coding and computational thinking skills. No prior experience required.
Free. Registration required. ADA Accommodation Requests
