Repair Cafe

Bring your broken items to our Repair Café, where various volunteer Repair Coaches are on hand to help repair your items free of charge!

Examples of potential items that can be fixed:

• Electrical Items: Lamps; hair dryers, plug, switch, and power cord repairs; clocks; fans; games and toys • Clothes and Textiles: Replace buttons; patch holes or tears; mend blankets and quilts; minor doll or stuffed animal repair

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer for the Repair Cafe, register using the 2026 Repair Cafe Volunteer Fixer form.

If you have an item you would like a Repair Cafe coach to fix free of charge while learning how to fix future items, register using the Repair Cafe Attendee Registration form for the Maud Smith Marks Branch event on 11/14/2026. (COMING SOON!)

Priority will be given to attendees who have registered ahead of time. Walk-ins will be served on a case by case basis as Repair Coaches become available.

We cannot guarantee all items will be able to be fixed, but we are sure you'll have a great time and learn a lot while you're here!
