Reading Buddy in Spanish

Help your child build confidence and strengthen their Spanish reading skills in a fun and supportive environment! Children in kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to read aloud in Spanish to a trained teen volunteer who will offer encouragement and help with pronunciation when needed.

Whether your child is a fluent Spanish reader or is still building their confidence, Reading Buddy in Spanish provides a welcoming space to practice reading skills, celebrate bilingual literacy, and foster a lifelong love of reading—especially for students enrolled in dual-language immersion programs.

Recommended for: Children in grades K–3 and their caregivers. Caregivers must remain in the Children's Area during the program.
