Queer Open Decks

Queer Open Decks is a free support and networking event for LGBTQ+ DJs working within London or online and for those looking to learn basic DJ skills. Started as a small meetup at the London LGBTQ+ Centre, it is now a growing community of genre‑fluid LGBTQ+ DJs meeting monthly at Dalston Superstore.

Equipment: Vinyl, CDJs and digital setups (USB or laptop, with or without controllers) are supported.

Sign up: 1×30 minute slot 18:30–19:00 and 3×20 minute slots available by advance sign‑up (Outsavvy event page and Instagram bio). From 20:00–22:30 there are 5×30 minute slots you can sign up for on the night.

Venue: Upstairs bar of Dalston Superstore. FREE ENTRY. Door policy: Dalston Superstore is a queer space and prioritises LGBTQIA+ customers; straight and cis allies may be asked to support the space by not taking up room. Never assume sexuality or gender identity. The door team will not ask personal questions.
