Pride Weaving Workshop with the IRSSS
Crafting & DIY · Indigenous · Adults · Pride
Join us for a fun and interactive afternoon of crafts and community-building with the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) .
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make their own Pride-themed weaving with the help of IRSSS facilitators, and to share their work with others.
Supplies will be provided, so space is limited for this in-person program.
Presented in partnership with the Indian Residential School Survivors Society . The IRSSS is a provincial organization that strives to provide physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual growth, development, and healing through culturally-based values and guiding principles for Survivors, Families, and Communities. The IRSSS is committed to providing culturally safe spaces and working deliberately with two spirit (2S), Indigiqueer, and LGBTQIA+ members of First Nations communities across all programs.
