Positive Responses to Disobedience
Third Triple P parenting workshop on positive strategies to prevent and manage childhood disobedience, childcare provided
Join the Triple P Positive Parenting Discussion Group Series, an evidence-based program backed by 35+ years of research, that offers simple, practical strategies to strengthen parent-child relationships and manage behavior confidently.
For parents of kids ages birth–12 years, this is the third in a series of three parent workshops. This program provides parents with the tools to navigate the complexities of parenting, boost parents' confidence, and increase the likelihood of positive outcomes in their child's educational journey. Positive parenting leads to healthy brain development and school readiness.
This session explores common forms of disobedience and why children may struggle to follow instructions. Positive parenting strategies are introduced to help parents create a plan to prevent disobedience, set limits, and manage disobedience when necessary. Prizes and giveaways for attendees!
The workshop is for adults only, and childcare is available if needed. Our children's librarian will have toys for children to play with in an adjacent room.
