Perseids Meteor Shower Watch Party

Enjoy a rare view of the night sky as the Perseids Meteor Shower coincides with the new moon. Join Standley Lake Stargazers, Standley Lake Public Library and Majestic View Nature Center for a community viewing.

You can spot the meteor shower with the naked eye, but since meteors can be sporadic we will also provide telescopes to view other fascinating space objects. Bring your own telescope for a true community viewing experience.
