
Opioid Overdose Prevention Training

Santa Clara County Library District, in partnership with Santa Clara County Public Health, is proud to offer training for our community members about how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to safely administer the nasal spray Naloxone (commonly known as Narcan).
The training will include:
• Introduction to Harm Reduction • What is Naloxone? • Signs of an Overdose • Administering Naloxone • Fentanyl Overview • Resources from the Public Health Department Sexual Health and Harm Reduction Program
Participants who complete this one-hour training will be given a free limited number of Naloxone dosages (while supplies last).
Registration is required for this event!
