Wellsaid (HK)

Wellsaid, formed in Hong Kong in 2017, have spent eight years playing rooms across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea — making friends, releasing records, and writing songs about everyone who eventually leaves.

The four-piece make the kind of earnest, loud guitar music that doesn't really exist in the mainstream anymore: post-hardcore edges, punk directness, lyrics about community and loss that feel genuinely meant. Their third album REGRETOPIA (2024) is about community and dispersal, friends leaving a city, and the shape of what's left behind. For the first time, they will perform in London, alongside long-time friends Jabin Law and Jonathan Yang.
