Description

Travel back in time with this self-guided tour of one of Austin’s most historic residences. Walk through the former slave quarters and the main house, which is authentically furnished to tell the site’s history from its beginning in 1856, up to 1930. Learn about Austin’s history through a site that experienced it all over decades of occupancy — births, deaths, the Spanish Flu, the Great Depression and two world wars.
