Needle Felted Orchard

Sat 5 Sept | 10am – 4pm | £40 Join renowned textile artist Louisa Kelly to create a richly textured Armagh orchard landscape through the art of wet felting and needle felting.

You will begin by learning the wet felting technique, layering dyed wool fibres and using warm water, soap, and gentle agitation to create a richly textured base. Once your background is formed and dried, Louisa will introduce you to needle felting, a dry technique using barbed needles to sculpt and add detail, depth, and definition to your apple trees.
