Learn how to save a life with free Narcan training and a rescue kit.
The Pittsburg Library, in partnership with the East Contra Costa County MEDS Coalition, invites you to a free training on recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose. Participants will learn how to use naloxone (Narcan), assemble a Narcan rescue kit, and receive a free kit to take home.
Keeping a Narcan rescue kit readily available can help you respond quickly during an opioid overdose emergency and provide assistance until emergency medical services arrive.
