Mosaic Plant Pot Workshop
One-day beginner mosaic workshop to create a weatherproof outdoor plant pot with all materials provided
A summer-inspired one-day introduction to mosaics for beginners. The workshop emphasises developing cutting confidence and control and culminates in a weatherproof outdoor mosaic plant pot to take home.
You will learn simple and more intentional cuts, explore bright seasonal themes such as sunshine, gardens and flowers through skill-building exercises, and practise adapting techniques for curved surfaces like plant pots. By the end of the day you should be able to use mosaic tools safely (with emphasis on tile nippers), demonstrate control over straight and curved cuts, design a simple mosaic composition, select appropriate exterior-grade materials, and apply adhesive, grout and sealer for durable weather-resistant results.
