Morningsong

Morningsong, a Danish custom of singing, folklore, and camaraderie, is how we start class days at the Folk School. Before breakfast, from 7:45 to 8:15, three days a week, folks congregate to listen to music, stories, and jokes. All are encouraged to sing along.

Mondays often incorporate history of the Folk School and the area. Friday’s performances are streamed live on our Facebook page and later posted to YouTube.
