Welcome to FLIP ... a whirling, twirling, tumbling, rumbling, jumping and flipping stream of playful necessity.

FLIP is an unstoppable ode to differences and connection. A performance full of movement, rhythm and beautiful chaos for children and grown-ups who can't keep still. FLIP is a virtuoso dance performance for young audiences (Junior Infants to 5th Class) that follows the journey of two characters as they move from isolation to community. It is a charming show that offers a one-of-a-kind portrayal of diversity, alternately humorous and profound. Cristian Dirocie and Martijn Joling, two male dancers, push the boundaries between breakdance and contemporary dance with their electrically charged performance, transforming ordinary objects into extraordinary and magical creations. Funded by The Arts Council of Ireland's Arts Touring Award with support from Meitheal.
