One-on-one mock interview sessions at the library to help teens (12–18) practice and get feedback
Interviewing for the first time can be intimidating! Take the pressure off by participating in a live 1-on-1 interview with a friendly library staff member. You will get the experience of a real interview, while also receiving feedback and learning best practices for preparing and delivering a strong interview. Get a step ahead and register today!
This program will be provided by Davidson Library staff and is recommended for teens ages 12-18.

Designed for teens ages 12 to 18, our College & Career Connections suite includes free programs and workshops offered by community experts and organizations such as the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the Princeton Review. Topics range from resources to pay for college, admissions essays, test prep, and online practice tests. We offer My Next Step programs led by Library staff that allow you to get personalized assistance in creating Your Road Map to Success. The Library also offers volunteer opportunities through our year-round VolunTeen initiative at all of our branch locations, in addition to virtual volunteering. You can also earn community service hours at select programs.
This program will take place indoors at the Davidson branch library. Indoor programs will be operating at a reduced attendance capacity and will include social distancing based on the library space. Please check in with front desk staff upon arrival at your scheduled time.
