
Mini Movers & Their Grown-up Groovers
A 45‑minute family dance class for children 12 months–4 years and their grownups led by dance artist Rachele Rapisardi
These family dance workshops offer a fun and creative opportunity for children and their grownups to dance and move together!
This dance workshop will explore togetherness through moving, using contact, props and drawing and offers a great family bonding experience. Suitable for children 12 months – 4 years old and their grown-ups! Children must therefore be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.
The class is led by professional dance teacher Rachele Rapisardi. Rachele Rapisardi is a dance artist who for 12 years has been working across the UK, Europe and Israel with companies such as Lost Dog, ilDance, Protein Dance, Clod Ensemble and Russell Maliphant. After obtaining an MA in Performing Arts in 2015 her freelance career expanded to include the roles of teacher, co-creator, Rehearsal Director and Associate Director. In the last six years Rachele has focused her practice particularly on collaborative making and community dance work, leading projects with refugee centres, referral units, care homes and families.
Class Duration: 45 minutes. The class commences at 11am, so please arrive for then. £6 tickets must be purchased for each child attending the class. Multiple accompanying adults are welcome to join; one adult is included with each child booking and additional accompanying adults are charged £6 — please book.
