Beginner-friendly mahjong workshop with matcha, social play and open tables for all levels at Sanctuary Camelback
This August, sip handcrafted matcha while discovering the art of mahjong through a beginner-friendly “how to get started” workshop designed for connection, community and play — geared for all levels.
The guided workshop will introduce guests to an overview of the popular tile game and is perfect for brand new beginner players interested in learning the game. Guests familiar with mahjong (either American or Traditional style) are welcome to bring their own set and, with their group of four, socialize to meet other players for games.
Event timeline • 10:00 Welcome & social (meet other players) • 10:15–12:00 Open play for experienced players • 10:30–11:30 1 hr mahjong workshop (beginners)
Due to the intimate nature of this experience, we kindly ask guests to RSVP only if they plan to attend. With limited seating, advanced reservations are required.
