Musical explorers and eclectic Acoustic Roots duo Mambo Jambo have an infectious passion for playing live, delighting audiences with their upbeat shows, their original songs and all their instruments! Their music fuses magically crafted elements of folk, roots, world music - plus bluegrass! A fabulous musical treat is in store wherever they roll up, their tour bus packed to the brim with instruments. Frankie is on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, uke, guitar, and Pete on guitar, vocal, banjo, tres (traditional Cuban guitar), accordion, & between them all kinds of percussion including suitcase and spoons!

Pete and Frankie have appeared on various BBC Radio shows (UK), and MTV Asia, and have been gathering admirers at shows and festivals in the UK, Europe and Internationally; Festivals include Costa Del Folk in Portugal, Voix Des Pays & St Patrick Cavan Celtic in France, Sidmouth, Broadstairs, Beverley & Shetland Folk (UK), Musicport, Cork (IRL) Jazz, Borneo Jazz, International Eisteddfod (Wales), etc. Tours of France, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland & Sweden and played concerts as far afield as Borneo, Havana and Reykjavik.
