Luella is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Upstate New York. From a young age, she was embraced by Woodstock’s renowned music community, growing up singing alongside legendary artists at the famed “Midnight Rambles,” hosted at Levon Helm’s home in Woodstock, New York.

Now based in Los Angeles, Luella shares her debut EP, Hysteria—a vulnerable reflection on her experiences with youth and love. Throughout the project, she explores how contrasting emotions can exist simultaneously: the joy of self-discovery alongside the disorienting reality that stepping into the unknown is inevitable. To her, this is what it means to be in your early twenties.

A natural storyteller, Luella’s evocative lyrics balance youthful wonder with introspective wisdom. Produced by solo artist and producer Daywave, Hysteria is an honest portrayal of Luella’s lived experience, translated into a sonic world of dreamy synths, catchy melodies, and driving lo-fi guitar and drums.
