Rewoven: Upcycle a Shirt
Full-day hands-on workshop with Ali to upcycle a shirt into a transformed textile piece
You know that pile of shirts at the back of someone's wardrobe? The ones that are perfectly good but nobody's wearing? This workshop is for those.
Ali will guide you through the possibilities — what a shirt can become when you stop thinking of it as a shirt. We'll have a selection of men's shirts ready to work with, or bring one of your own if it's been quietly judging you from a hanger or the fabric to use pile.
This is an exploratory session rather than a follow-the-pattern one. You'll experiment, make decisions, and leave with something genuinely transformed — and a much better idea of what you can do with fabric you already own.
With a maximum of eight of us in the room, there's plenty of time to think through your ideas with Ali and actually make them happen.
No experience necessary. Curiosity required. This is a whole day workshop so please bring along a packed lunch, tea and coffee are supplied
