The route is marked out with brown daisy signs from the motorway all the way to Cheddon Fitzpaine. Upon following the sign from Cheddon Fitzpaine, stay on the main road until you reach Hestercombe Gardens. Do not take a turn onto Hestercombe Road as this will take you to the farm and not to Hestercombe Gardens.
Ali is a maker who wastes nothing. Every beautiful fabric she works with — and she works with a lot — gets used to its fullest. Larger pieces find their way into garment linings and bag pockets. Smaller scraps get cut into strips. And even the tiniest offcuts get kept, because Ali knows that good fabric deserves a second life.
Those strips and scraps are exactly what you'll be working with in this workshop, transforming them into a gorgeous rag wreath to take home and hang on your door this Christmas.
Rag wreaths are a wonderfully satisfying make — tactile, forgiving, and genuinely enjoyable to put together, whatever your experience level. Ali's fabric choices are beautiful: rich colours and textures that make for a wreath that feels considered and special rather than thrown together.
Everything you need is included in your workshop, so you can just turn up, settle in, and make something lovely.
