Kick It!
Community walking soccer tournament with teams, coaches and postgame pizza at Edgewater Library
Join us for a day of fun, comradery, healthy competition, and food as we play a tournament of walking soccer.
Walking soccer is played like it sounds. Players can only pass or kick the ball by walking and keeping one foot on the ground. Teams consist of seven players, and the field is much smaller, with normal sized goals.
It is a great low impact sport suitable for everyone, good for balance and coordination, and a wonderful way to socialize. Each person must register. We will enjoy a refreshment as we form the teams. Once formed, the teams will compete for their city (Wheat Ridge or Edgewater), will be provided with a coach, and all players will socialize and recap the game with pizza afterwards.
Show up early and attend our weekly chair yoga class (moved up to 9:30am this day) for a great warmup before you play!
