Marking the huge musical revolution in Ireland of the late 60s, 70s and 80s: the birth of a new sound. A new generation of electric guitar–driven music inspired many and paved the way for those who followed. A time when Ireland rocked the world, celebrating songs of iconic Irish rock acts and the enormous musical footprint they left worldwide.
Focusing on this golden era, paying homage to the bands, musicians and their songs. Pat McManus is an Irish legend known for his dynamic performances and electrifying guitar work (Mama’s Boys), having toured with Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath and Rory Gallagher. Cormac Neeson, lead singer of The Answer, toured with AC/DC and The Rolling Stones and earned the Classic Rock Awards Bestcomer award in 2009. Brendan Reaburn is a celebrated bassist and founding member of cover projects including The Cunning Stunts and Pearl Jem (now Light Years). Chris Carney is a multi‑instrumentalist contributing guitar, piano and synthesizer to Irish Rock Legends.
