Introduction to Lesson Planning

This event is part of the Summer Institute taking place from August 17 – 20, 2026 . In this fundamental session, we will explore the four lesson basics, learning outcomes, active learning, assessment and motivation, and how to use these to plan well-aligned student-centered classes. This session will provide a high-level overview and important pointers with the goal for you to apply these in your lesson planning.
