Insect Pinning 101

🪲 Become an entomologist and master the art of insect pinning! During this hands-on series we’ll guide you through the process of pinning insects using provided specimens. You'll leave with your pinned insect, an extra specimen to practice with, pinning supplies, and a deeper appreciation for the amazing world of insects! Program led by a Stevens Creek Nature Center naturalist. 🦋

Join us and our friends at Parks and Recreation for this fascinating exploration of the beauty of insects.

This program is for ages 12 and up. Register each person that wants their own set of supplies to use and take home.

This program will take place in the Mint Hill Branch Library community room. Participants will be seated at a table. This activity involves handling sharp tools, such as pins, and insect specimens.
