H.O.M.E.
Dance/Circus · Misleór Festival of Nomadic Cultures - A co-production with Tobi Omoteso and Fidget Feet
H.O.M.E. An Aerial Hip H'Oprea H.O.M.E by Fidget Feet and Tobi Omoteso is the first aerial Hip H'Opera created in Ireland. A thrilling cast of nine interrogate society's limitations and what elevates and suppresses us as humans: darkness, trust, strength, gender expectations, identity and more. Devised in collaboration with the cast, H.O.M.E explores the personal stories of each performer through aerial, movement, Hip-Hop, spoken word, music, and opera. The performance engages its audience viscerally and emotionally, led by a gritty and raw narration by critically acclaimed rapper Wilzee. The combination of different art forms makes this an extraordinarily unique and profoundly moving experience to witness. Presented as part of the Misleór Festival of Nomadic Cultures, run by Galway Traveller Movement. The evening opens with a special performance by participants from Sorcán and Circus Funded by the Arts Council | An Chomhairle Ealaíon ReThink Ireland and Irish Aerial Creation Centre H.O.M.E was Co-Commissioned by Cairde Sligo Arts Festival, Carlow Arts Festival, and Earagail Arts Festival
