Getting Ready for Kindergarten
Health & Wellness · Reading Programs & Storytimes · Adults (18+) · Preschool Children (0-5) · Your Health Matters
In partnership with Toronto Public Health, this program is for caregivers of children starting Kindergarten in September and their children and combines a health information workshop, led by a Toronto Public Health Nurse, with a storytime full of stories, songs, books, and activities, led by Toronto Public Library staff.
The workshop potion will cover the benefits of establishing health routines for families and children when getting ready to attend Kindergarten and tips for establishing routines. Healthy hygiene practices, the importance of immunizations and checking in on children's developmental milestones will also be discussed.
Please select one spot for each participant (child or caregiver). For example, two children and two caregivers require four spots.
