Get a Grip! Ceramics & pottery course
Six-week hands-on ceramics course (6 students max) teaching pinching, slab and coiling, 9 Sep–14 Oct, 18:00–20:00
Step into the world of clay and bring your ideas to life using the three foundational hand-building techniques: pinching, slab building and coiling. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to deepen your practice, this course is designed to meet you right where you are – with no experience necessary.
6 weekly sessions of tactile, meditative, skill-building clay play, from 9 September to 14 October, 6–8pm. Max 6 students for generous one-on-one guidance. All materials, tools and unlimited making & firing included.
Facilitated by ceramic artist Ellen Bagge. You’ll have the freedom to follow your own creative path and make something that truly speaks to you — tableware, a one of a kind sculpture, or experiments with new techniques. This course focuses on play, process and personal projects; there is no pressure to make perfect pottery, just the joy of creating with your own hands.
Held in the heritage building of Kil.n.it Experimental Ceramics Studio tucked behind Glebe Library. Free parking available on site. Entry through Wigram Lane off Wigram Road.
