Festival F
Two-day summer festival in Faro with Portuguese music across multiple stages plus cinema, comedy, arts and family programming
At the beginning of September, do not miss the last big summer festival that for two days livens up the historic centre of Faro. The Festival F takes place in the so-called “vila adentro” (village within) the historic area of Faro through which, over the centuries, the Phoenicians, Romans, Visigoths and Moors have all passed. It still retains a very particular charm and boasts a huge architectural, religious, natural and cultural heritage.
With a strong focus on Portuguese music, with shows on several stages throughout the city, this cultural and artistic event embraces other aspects such as cinema, stand-up comedy, musical and political gatherings, fine arts, literature, crafts, street entertainment and street food.
The Festival F keeps families in mind with a special programme for children and a ticket policy designed for families.
