Experimental Mark-Making & Sketchbook Workshop

Celebrate the freedom of drawing and making in this playful, hands-on workshop. You will use elongated drawing tools such as bamboo to explore large-scale drawing techniques from a standing position as well as using charcoal, graphite and ink working at tables to experiment with gesture and mark-making. You'll then design and learn to bind your own handmade sketchbook using a mix of new and recycled materials, creating a personalised space for future ideas.

Open to all levels, this relaxed session encourages curiosity and creativity. Participants will leave with a unique sketchbook and simple binding guide to continue their practice at home.

All materials will be provided; however, participants are welcome to bring along any paper surfaces of their own to incorporate into their sketchbook.
