
Freedom Project Kolekcja
A group exhibition of international artists addressing human rights, war and social injustice at the Central Library
Freedom Project Kolekcja is a response to crises and ongoing global conflicts humanity is facing today. Artists were invited to speak up on issues related to human rights, war, violence, and social and racial injustice. The mission of this important and timely project is to educate and to create a dialogue between the viewer and the artist in this crucial time of human history.
The collection features artworks created by international artists from 22 countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Peru, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, UK, USA, and Zimbabwe working in: book art, calligraphy, collage, drawing, fiber art, handmade paper, mixed media, painting, photography, and poster design.
