Epping Ongar Railway beer and cider festival
Three-day CAMRA beer and cider festival across stations and heritage trains celebrating 40 years of Network SouthEast
From 24 to 26 July, the partnership between CAMRA and Epping Ongar Railway returns for 2026. With up to 85 Real Ales and 25 Ciders on sale at any one time, find your pint either at a station or on a train!
This year’s event is themed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Network SouthEast – the bright blue/red/white trains that ruled the rails radiating from London from the summer of ’86. This means as well as the usual selection of local brews, there’ll also be guests from across the areas served by ‘NSE’ trains.
Easily accessible via the Central Line (Epping) or Elizabeth Line/National Rail (Shenfield) – the vintage bus services will connect into the festival and the heritage trains, with late services on Friday and Saturday evenings. All day fares are available with CAMRA membership giving a concession rate. Additionally, there are cheaper evening fares – valid on the bus from 16:30 and the heritage trains from 17:00.
Alongside the ale & cider, there’ll also be a range of other drinks to cater for all tastes.
