Creating Compelling Characters with Loghan Paylor
Writing Workshop · Adults · Creative Writing Classes
A class on how to make compelling, believable fictional characters. Participants will explore how to create psychologically real characters, and how other elements of writing such as conflict and plot can develop organically from character creation. Incorporating elements from fiction and playwriting, this class includes one collaborative and two solo writing exercises. This class is generously funded by the Canadian Poetry Fund a local donor-advised fund which fosters accessible public educational outreach for poetry and other forms of creative writing through the services of the Vancouver Public Library.
