Concert 2027

Concert 2027 is a two-day Dhrupad Vocal Concert dedicated to the preservation, portrayal, and propagation of the Dagarvani tradition—one of the oldest surviving lineages of Hindustani Classical Music (Dhrupad in Dagarvani).

Hosted by Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar Sangeet Gurukul Trust, this cultural gathering brings together distinguished exponents of the Dagarvani tradition for an immersive experience rooted in Guru–Shishya Parampara, artistic authenticity, and India's intangible cultural heritage.

Cultural Arts Feature

In addition to the concert performances, acclaimed visual artist Preeti Rana will present a curated exhibition inspired by the aesthetic, philosophical, and meditative dimensions of the Dagarvani Dhrupad tradition. Through her artistic interpretations, audiences will experience a unique visual dialogue between sound, heritage, and artistic expression, extending the spirit of Dhrupad beyond the stage.

More than a concert, Concert 2027 is a cultural preservation initiative inviting audiences, institutions, stakeholders, patrons, professionals, and heritage advocates to participate in safeguarding one of India's most profound artistic traditions.
