
Computer Basics: Organizing Your Computer
One-hour beginner workshop at Hyde Park Library to organize files, folders and desktop on your personal computer
This workshop is for individuals who feel they are struggling to understand and use their personal computers. Led by a Hyde Park librarian, this class will focus on:
• Managing your computer desktop • Creating and naming folders • The importance of naming your files • Searching your computer for a file
It is best to bring your own laptop, but a limited number of library laptops are available. If you need a library computer, please call 617-361-2524 to reserve your computer if available.
