SSO: Everything is Romantic
On the most romantic night of the year, pianist Angela Cheng performed what is often considered the most romantic piece of music ever written, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Alongside this, the SSO performed dramatic romances like Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet and Khachaturian’s Love Theme, Adagio from Spartacus.
This community screening is a previously recorded performance presented in partnership with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and Remai Modern. Runtime: 79 minutes. Dates performed: February 14, 2026. Conductor: Judith Yan. Guest artist: Angela Cheng.
