Free one-on-one in-person tutoring at Seven Trees Library to strengthen college applications and test prep for teens
In this program, get personal assistance with basic college readiness and advice when preparing yourself to further your education. Our knowledgeable volunteer will provide free, one-on-one tutoring at the library. These in-person sessions can help strengthen your knowledge, goals, letter writing, and test-taking skills to improve your college application and set you up for future success!
Topics may also include:
• ACT & SAT test prep • General high school or college advice on choosing classes, joining clubs, creating study plans or career goals, how to network with teachers or professors, choosing and prepping for summer opportunities, resume and job application advice/help • College application process: general questions, timeline advice, college selection, essay review, interview practice • Financial aid: basic info on types of aid available and how it can help (no specific financial advice will be given outside of general information and best practices).
Space is limited to keep interactions more personalized for each individual. Registration is recommended for a guaranteed spot.
