Champion Trees

Champion Trees play Sneaky Pete’s on 6 August 2026 with support from Kaspar Hauser and the Gordon McGruer Quartet.

In 2025 Champion Trees released A Duck’s Water Off My Back, a lush record featuring woodwind and string arrangements and immersive lyricism. Their songwriting blends soft melancholy and relatable humour with rich, evolving instrumentation.

Joining Champion Trees on this tour is Kaspar Hauser, a South London indie folk/chamber pop outfit whose most recent album The Pink Parade tells stories of love, mental health and nature.

Also on the bill is The Gordon McGruer Quartet. Based in Edinburgh, Gordon McGruer brings earnest singing and confident guitar work; his recent explorations include a suite of songs arranged for pedal steel which he will debut at this gig.
