Carmen Graffiti Workshop (8-11yrs)

Come along, get inspired, and be part of bringing our 20th anniversary Blackheath Halls Opera Carmen to life.

Unleash your creativity and make your mark in our exciting community graffiti workshops for children and adults. Led by professional graffiti artist Jesse Wilson from Paintbox Graffiti, these hands-on sessions will introduce participants to authentic street art techniques, including spray painting, letter styles, colour blending, and large-scale design. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced creative, you'll have the opportunity to develop new skills, express yourself, and create bold, vibrant artwork in a fun and welcoming environment.

Throughout the course of the workshop, all participants will work together on an exciting project: helping to design and paint the set for our community opera production of Carmen. This unique opportunity allows participants to contribute directly to one of Blackheath Halls largest projects, leaving a lasting mark on a production that will be enjoyed by the whole community.

No previous experience is required, and all materials and protective equipment will be provided. Paints used are non-toxic.
