Caring Bookmarks

Turn your creativity into community caring! Meet other kids and have fun creating bookmarks, cards, or other paper crafts for people who are isolated at home or in a care facility. VPL’s Accessible Services will deliver the cards and help you make someone’s day! Adults accompanying children under 9 must stay in the library for the duration of the program. Grades K-7. Drop-in.

• Takes place in a programming room • Participants are welcome to move, stim, or take breaks as needed. • Sensory Kit with fidget toys, ear defenders, and sunglasses is available • Materials such as markers and scissors will be used. Some Accessible crafting materials will be provided.
