CANVAS Early Years Sessions [2026]

Our early years sessions will be led by local artists, from various art forms, including dance, music, visual arts, theatre and more! These free sessions will engage ages 0 – 5 years in a variety of fun and engaging activities, to help build motor skills, confidence and communication skills. These sessions will take place on a Friday, 10 – 11:30am, once a month (Please see specific dates. Each date has a different arts activity for families). CANVAS Connects young people with Arts organisations and creatives across Derby City. Nurturing the next generation of creative Voices through workshops, mentoring and live events. Ensuring Access for all to engage in free activities in safe Spaces.
